What the site is for
People often compare jobs or moves using gross salary alone. That misses taxes, pay frequency, rent, city costs, moving expenses, and monthly budget pressure. TakeHomeMap brings those questions into one set of lightweight calculators.
How the estimates work
The calculators use simplified public tax assumptions, state tax profiles, FICA rules, and representative city budget snapshots. They are designed for planning, not for filing taxes, payroll setup, lender underwriting, or professional advice.
Privacy stance
Calculator inputs run in the browser and do not require an account. TakeHomeMap does not ask for Social Security numbers, employer details, bank accounts, or exact home addresses.
